Well, we made it through the week. All Quals has been excellent this past week, except for a few mishaps during formation air flyte but in full WolfPack tradition greatness.
This coming week looks like a stay in the Hangar and the Ayreshaq week. They closed much of our roads and us revoked flyte clearance so it's radio werx time and file updation by yours truly.
Byrds need to be fed, watered, and groomed so the Hangar crew is going to be hot and heavy-breathing this week.
I'm making this morning's writing to invoke some thankfulness to all those untiring, without-fanfare ladies and grunts, in the towers. Yes ATC. ATC crews work 25/7/365 keeping us safe while we fly. While not all our ports of call and rest have manned towers, still those that do, those stress-fed crews are indispensable .
Last but not least in this mornings howling, is a real award-winning gal who is employed by the Uinta County Sheriffs Department Evanston, Wyoming.
Christmas Eve, she did a gif over fuzz band radio, on an ATL for Santa Claus. Point by point, not missing a beat, and seemingly
seriousness and no chuckling keeping us entertained by reciting all of that. She put my Stepson Leroy completely to sleep. In fact, it was Leroy that came in the ready room, here, saying that the local cops were going to bust Santa Clause.

To this end, I am commissioning an award trophy something to be given to that young dispatcher. Heck, she even was better than NORAD.
I didn't do radio as normal, as I'm awaiting for funding for this radio werx op to buy a new console and furniture for the studio here. The Squadron office is still slated to being in the Wells Fargo building here in Evanston, Wyoming, 5th floor.
Until L8R Aviators
